Jasmine Hinchliffe is a visionary mixed media artist and transformative practitioner whose life and work form a seamless tapestry of creativity, resilience and deep ecological connection. Originally raise under the vibrant, salt kissed light of the Sunshine Coast Queensland, Jasmines journey eventually led her to the wild, mist shrouded landscapes of Tasmania, where she has found her true resonance amidst the ancient myrtle forests of Lottah.

Her creative process is one of profound physical and spiritual immersion. Jasmine resides and works within her off grid studio she built with her own two hands - a sanctuary of timber and intention that stands as testament to her belief in the power of self-reliance and the manifestation of ones dreams. Within these walls, and beneath the canopy of the surrounding wilderness, creativity is not merely a task but a continuous flow that informs every facet of her existence.

Working primarily with oil painting, acrylics, inks, charcoal and pastels Jasmine’s mixed media compositions are rich with layered meaning. Her art serves as a visual exploration of the “blooming” - the sacred, yet often arduous process of coming into ones’ own fullness. She is deeply inspired by the delicate beauty and profound depth of the feminine essence, capturing the quiet strength required to transcend life’s obstacles. Her canvases act as mirrors to the natural world, reflecting the eternal cycles of birth, growth ,decay and rebirth that govern both the forest floor and the human soul.

An avid adventurer and dedicated hiker, Jasmine finds her most potent inspiration in the stillness of nature, The act of creation for her is an extension of her relationship with the land and a way to honour the interconnectedness of all living things.

Complementing her visual practice, Jasmine offers curated sound healing experiences designed to inspire growth and transformation. Understanding the need for sanctuary in a modern world, she provides a safe resonant space for deep reflection and inner alchemy. Through these sessions, she invites others to navigate their own internal landscapes, using sound as a bridge to transcend barriers and foster a sense of wholeness.

Jasmine Hinchliffe’s work is more than just a collection of paintings; it is an invitation to witness the beauty of the struggle and the triumph of the spirit. Whether through the stroke of a brush or the vibration of the sound bowl, she continues to dedicate her life to the exploration of the feminine, the natural, and the transformative power of a life lived in harmony with ones own creative truth.
